Cover for composting plants and inert materials

The Copritutto CDC (Dust Cover) is Coprikompatt's solution dedicated to covering composting plants, organic-fraction (FORSU) treatment plants and the storage of inert and bulk materials. The cover contains dust, odours and leachate, protects the windrows from the weather and isolates the process area from the surrounding environment, helping to comply with the plant's environmental and hygiene requirements.

Features of the Copritutto CDC

The Copritutto CDC is a self-supporting structure in hot-dip galvanized steel, designed with wide clear spans and no internal columns, so the working areas are left completely free. The retractable configuration lets the cover open to allow loaders, windrow turners and other machinery to pass during loading, turning and maturation of the windrows, then close again to protect the area.

The steel surface treatment is hot-dip galvanizing by immersion, ensuring full penetration of the molten zinc to protect every structural element — especially important in aggressive environments such as biostabilization and maturation processes.

The structure is completed by a high-strength PVC covering membrane, selected by Coprikompatt to withstand the aggressive vapours and humid environment typical of composting. The membranes are of European origin, certified and tear-resistant, customisable in colour and with the option of adding the company logo.

The cover can be completed with ventilation systems, openable skylights and sectors for air exchange, as well as industrial doors and curtains to manage access. Each plant is sized to measure based on windrow volume and the layout of the process area.
